Welcome to Five Oaks Fishery

A warm welcome to Five Oaks Fishery located in the heart of West Sussex between the lovely towns of Horsham and Billingshurst.
We have two superb Day Ticket lakes of 3 acres, varying in depth to 3 metres at the deepest point, offering 50 pegs.
If you’re looking for unspoilt countryside and a peaceful venue away from the noise of modern day life this is the place for you,
Sussex coarse fishing at its finest.  
The lakes were specially created to provide the ultimate fishing experience for the serious angler or the absolute beginner
in 1999 and are well stocked with fish of outstanding quality, colouration and size including Carp to 25lb,
some superb Ghosties and Mirrors to 14lb, Tench to 7lb, Perch to 5lb, Bream, Chub and Crucians to 3lb, Roach and F1’s to 2lb.
We allow fishing 24 hours a day all year round, so you can book for a day visit, (sunrise to sunset) or longer if you wish.
Night and Match fishing is allowed on a first come first served basis and full lake bookings are considered.
Tickets purchased from the bank.
You are guaranteed plenty of sport at Five Oaks Fishery,
it’s the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy premium fishing at its best.
There is also FREE parking for 50 cars (soon to be 70) on site.

We are open every day of the year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day when the fishery will be closed.
Weekdays - 7am to sunset. Weekends and Bank Holidays - Sunrise (5.30am earliest) to Sunset.

MATCH or BLOCK RATES - £8 per peg. Final peg numbers must be confirmed 48 hours in advance of fishing.
You will then be liable to pay for this number of pegs irrespective of non-attendance.   
Money collected on the bankside, no refunds on any ticket purchased.
Please don’t ring the bell before 8am, just go fishing and we will catch up with you when we do our daily walk around.
Any customer not abiding by the rules will be asked to leave and all fees forfeited.
No liability can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to person, visitor, animals or vehicles when on site, however it may be caused.
If you have any questions, special needs or misunderstanding of the rules please feel free to ask.

Customers are entitled to fish either lake but if you move to another peg you must take all your equipment with you.
All fish caught must be returned to the water immediately after weighing and photographing with the greatest care being taken for their welfare.
 Please do so over an unhooking mat kneeling down, not standing.
Photographs of any notable fish caught would be appreciated for our website gallery, please email them to Dave Bell and we will add them to the website  (please take photos in landscape not portrait otherwise they may not be shown on the website) 
Please clean your swim before you leave and take all litter, discarded line and unused bait away with you including cigarette ends.
A portaloo is available close to the lake but at present there are no shower facilities on site.
No fishing allowed without a EA rod licence.
Use barbless hooks only, hook lengths must be lighter than main line.
Do not leave rods and baited hooks unattended.
Landing nets must be used at all times.
Unhooking mats must be used at all times.
No keep nets, except for authorised matches.
No fish to be kept in sacks.
No fish to be introduced or removed from the fishery.
Please don’t be aggrieved when asked to inspect your vehicle.
No bait restrictions.
No shouting or excessive noise, including mobile telephone ringing tones and bite alarms, please keep beeping to a minimum.
Be courteous to others, antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.
No wading, swim raking or swimming.
Do not damage bankside vegetation or trees.
Under 16’s must be accompanied by an experienced fishing parent/guardian. (Unless authorised by Fishery management).
We do allow dogs onto the fishery but they must be kept on a lead at all times and you must clean up after them.
They must not be noisy.
No drugs onsite, alcohol in moderation.
No trespassing in farm buildings.
No fires or BBQ’s, without prior permission.
One million candle watt power torches are not necessary; head torches are more than adequate
